C.A.P.S. – Compagnon Acteur de la Prévention et de la Sécurité

Originally specialising in civil engineering and installing structures along motorways, TRALUX Construction is now a well-known general contractor offering a wide range of trades, construction and civil engineering services as well as a variety of services for dedicated offerings.

In order to involve the “compagnons” themselves in occupational health and safety, TRALUX has implemented the CAPS initiative (Compagnon Acteur de la Prévention et de la Sécurité [Acting Prevention and Safety Partner] at all its sites. The CAPS is designated site foreman by the team members and clad in a special green hi-vis harness every week or every other week and serves as an additional point of contact for the prevention of safety risks and for the respect of the environment on site. The CAPS helps identify the risks and hazardous situations and to train and inform everyone about their own safety.
