VOLTIGE BENELUX

The company VOLTIGE BENELUX, being a company of the “CAN” group, is specialized in interventions and work with difficult access, work at height, work on ropes and installation of safety systems against falls from height, felling and pruning of trees and securing of rock walls. In addition, the company VOLTIGE BENELUX, as a continuing education organization, provides “Safety at Height and Rope Work” training courses and advises on the choice of equipment adapted to each specific need.

When working at heights with the use of a safety harness, it is mandatory to specify beforehand the measures to be taken in case of evacuation and rescue. The company VOLTIGE BENELUX has created for this purpose an adapted training tool called “Plan d’Intervention Secours Travaux en Hauteur” (Emergency response plan for working at height) to improve the safety of the worker to be rescued as well as that of the rescuer. This intervention plan represents the protocol to be applied to the rescue of a worker at height by relying on the 4 main actions of the rescuer “Protect – Examine – Alert – Rescue”. The pictograms used are similar to those of the classic “Sauveteur Secouriste du Travail” (Health and safety at work) plan, but are adapted to the specificities of professions including work and interventions at height requiring the wearing of specific personal protective equipment (PPE).
